Tom Strifler, Vice President of Manufacturing and Engineering, was previously Vice President of Engineering for NOVA Chemicals. After joining Polysar Limited in 1979, Tom worked in engineering, project management, manufacturing management and human resources. After joining NOVA Chemicals in 1991, he held plant managers roles at NOVA Chemicals’ Moore and St. Clair River sites in Ontario, and Joffre site in Alberta. Tom led the start-up of NOVA Chemicals’ first commercial Advanced SCLAIRTECHTM Technology polyethylene plant, before becoming the Director of NOVA Chemicals’ manufacturing facilities in Ontario. Tom grew up and was educated in London, Ontario where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from University of Western Ontario.
