WINGLES is located in the North of France, 125 miles (200 kilometers) from Paris and 19 miles (30 kilometers) from Lille.

Four operating units are located on the 74-acre (34 hectare) site, including a polystyrene facility and an expandable polystyrene plant.

The site employs about 160 persons including technology and has a capacity of 200.000 tons (440MLbs) of polystyrene and 100.000 tons (220Mlbs) of expandable polystyrene per year.

Polystyrene Production

The site's first PS production started in 1953 as a discontinuous process.

The first continuous PS production line was built in 1974. A second line was added in 1978 and a third line in 1999 to reach the actual total capacity of 200Ktons/annum.

Expandable Polystyrene Production
The site's first EPS production started in 1976, with significant expansion up to reach the current capacity of 100Ktons/annum.

Feedstock, styrene, used both for production of polystyrene and expandable polystyrene is transported to the site via barges.

The Wingles site Research Center is focused on Solid polystyrene, providing supports for Technical services, R & T, and plants.

The Wingles site is engaged in a policy of Total Quality to meet the customer’s needs. and is fully certified ISO 9001-2008.

Health Safety and environment are the highest priorities of the site. Ineos-Nova Wingles chose to implement modern safety policy and systems and is fully certified   ISO140001/ Eco Audit. The site has successfully passed 5 years without AFWC in June 2008.

The public is regularly informed about the environmental results of the site, in conformance with the community system of environmental management and audit.

The site also takes part in the development of the local life.

Strong relationships have been developed between the company and the community, in the cultural area or in the sport education areas.

The Wingle site is ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001 registered.
