Responsible Care is a voluntary initiative developed by the chemical industry to improve performance in environmental protection, health and safety.

Responsible Care requires its member chemical companies to go above and beyond regulatory requirements and voluntarily share relevant performance metrics with the public. Companies adhering to the principles of Responsible Care improve their performance by implementing advanced management practices; working with independent auditors; tracking performance through environmental, health, safety and security measures; and extending these best practices to business partners throughout the industry.

INEOS NOVA believes Responsible Care makes good business sense. We act responsibly with our customers, employees, communities we serve and the environment in which we live. Everyone who works for the company, in any part of Europe, is responsible for the implementation of INEOS NOVA’s Responsible Care Principles. We see Responsible Care as critical to our success, and our plans include performance targets which we are committed to meet. We are dedicated to operate our facilities in a safe and responsible way, managing the environmental and health impact of our operations by reducing waste, emissions and discharges, and by using energy efficiently.
