INEOS NOVA announces price rollover for all polystyrene products in Europe (01/04/2008)
Fribourg, Switzerland INEOS NOVA announced today that prices for all Polystyrene products in Europe will rollover effective from April 1st, 2008. Although the Styrene Price will decrease in April, the margin of all Polystyrenes has been reduced over the last 4 months to a level which is not acceptable. INEOS NOVA needs to restore an acceptable margin on its business. INEOS NOVA announced also today that the premium on High-Impact Polystyrenes will be increased by 10 Euro per ton effective April 1st, 2008. It is very likely that the Butadiene Quarterly Contract Price will significantly increase in April. This will have an impact on the price of rubbers used for the production of the High Impact Products range and consequently increase costs. INEOS NOVA is committed to being recognized as the global leader in styrenics. Our employees manufacture and market styrene and styrenic polymers with a dedicated focus on health, safety, security and environmental stewardship. INEOS NOVA is a joint venture of INEOS and NOVA Chemicals.

INEOS NOVA announces European Polystyrene price increase for March (26/02/2008)
Fribourg, Switzerland - INEOS NOVA announced today a price increase of 70 Euro/mt for all Polystyrene products in Europe effective from March 1st, 2008. INEOS NOVA's price spread in February was below expectations, and did not fully reflect market fundamentals. Feedstock costs are expected to increase signficantly next month, therefore a price increase in March is fully justified.

INEOS NOVA Announce Price Increases for Expandable Polystyrene (EPS) (04/01/2008)
Fribourg, Switzerland - INEOS NOVA announced today that they are increasing the price for expandable polystyrene (EPS) resins by 70 Euro/MT with immediate effect for January, and by a further 50 Euro/MT effective February 1st 2008. "Margins are at unsustainably low levels as a result of price decreases during Q4 2007", said Peter Ayrey, EPS Business Director. "We expect strong demand in January and February as many customers are rebuilding inventories which they depleted for year end. With significantly increasing feedstock costs, these price increases become even more necessary at this time."
